May 7, 2020 The Beauty of a Woman

May 7, 2020 The Beauty of a Woman
Art by Claudia Olivos

The Beauty of a Woman,
poem from Wisconsin

We are women and we are strong and we are
beautiful.  We are the daughters of a thousand
generations past and a thousand generations to come.

We are soft and silent, powerful and moving.  And as we breath so does the wind blow.  And as we cry so does the river run.  And as we heal so does the Mother Earth heal.  We are women and we are strong and we are beautiful.

We have the precious gift of giving life and we are blessed with healing powers.  We love and those who are in our lives are touched by this.  We laugh and joy spreads throughout the land. We make love and our lovers become weak with pleasure.  And there is nothing, no – nothing that can stop the Abundance of the Universe from flowing through our bodies to reach
out to all who enter our lives.

We are women and we are strong and we are beautiful.  And today, we have begun the journey homeward – to peace and love and joy like we’ve never known.  Never again will our children be afraid of dying by someone else’s hand.  Never again will our Mother be poisoned through carelessness and greed and, never again will the power of hatred rise above the power and strength of Universal Love.

We are women and we are strong and we are beautiful.  We are the threads of light which feed the hungry, clothe the naked and shelter the homeless.  We are the threads of light which open our hearts to the Abundance of Universal Love, Light and Healing and by doing so change the fate of our worlds.

We are the threads of light which choose to love instead of hate, laugh instead of cry, have courage instead of fear, and choose to make a difference, a positive difference in this world.
For we are Women and we are Strong and we are Beautiful.

                          ~ Kathy L. Bryant

“I was still fairly new to the Grandmothers and their books, when I traveled to Nepal and found myself in a hair-raising situation.  We visited in 2016, one year after the horrendous earthquakes, and while the weather should have been good, it rained, and rained, and rained.  This made already bad roads worse and what would have been a ‘white-knuckle-ride’ in good conditions (what we were prepared for and had been through many times before), turned into a nightmare that left deep scars in my psyche.  We had waterfalls rushing onto the road, roads that had gotten completely washed away, and since the earth was still unstable after the earthquakes, there were many landslides.  And during much of that part of the trip there was to our right the wildest raging river I have ever come across, thundering through the gorge.  It was clear that we’d be lost if we couldn’t stay on what used to be our track, but had to move forward.

Before starting the second day of this nightmare, I was standing near the river, listening to it scream and thunder, and watching it hurl itself down the narrow valley and I was praying, praying, PRAYING.

And all of a sudden I felt, I ‘understand’ Yin.  Yin is the riverbed that just IS.  No matter how much water, no matter how big the torrent, no matter how wild the water is — the riverbed holds the water.  She is strong and equanimous.  To me that water was Yang.  And they need each other to BE what they ARE.
And does the water shape the riverbed or the riverbed the water? They need each other to be a river and a riverbed, otherwise they are NOT.

I had more terrible times to come on that trip, but I am here to tell the tale and to thank the Grandmothers for this insight (even though I could do with less spectacular situations to GET IT).

Love, Nicole”

April 17, 2020 Choose for Yourself a Deep Grounding in Calm

April 17, 2020 Choose for Yourself a Deep Grounding in Calm

Choose for Yourself a Deep Grounding in Calm

Some friends today asked if there was any news from the Grandmothers.  “I haven’t asked them for anything,” I said, “but I will.”  So, as soon as they left, I did, and this is what they said.

“Calm is the greatest gift of this hour.  Calm.  Amid the agitation of this crisis that has come upon humanity, choose for yourself a deep grounding in calm and drop into that,” they said.  “Choosing to ground yourself in calm will hold you steady throughout this storm that has arrived.  Drop into contact with the earth now and let Mother Earth hold you.

“She is not frantic nor is she agitated.  She simply IS, and always your Mother supports you.  She holds and supports life everywhere.  Let her hold you now,” they said.  “Think of Her beauty.  Look at Her and if you are not where you can see Her, see Her in your mind’s eye.  Reflect on her peaceful presence,” the Grandmothers said, “and if you can, go outside and feel Her touch on your skin.  Sit on the grass, run your hand through the water, touch a tree or feel the breeze against your skin.  Nature is here for you … always,” they said, with peaceful smiles on their faces.  “No matter what, She is here.

“So, breathe with Her.  Sit, stand, or lie on Her body and simply breathe. Breathe deep and with each breath you take, invite Her in.  Feel Her presence and let Her into your mind and heart.  You belong to Nature,” they said.  “She is your Mother; She is your friend.  You are part of Her and She will always care for you.  Let Her,” they said.

“The world is in mad disarray now but Mother is calm.  She is green and welcoming … always.  She loves the plants, animals, minerals and you, even you, poor harried, human being.  Let your worrying, agitated self now take a seat quietly on Her lap and simply receive what She has to give.  With your Mother, you will never come away empty, with your Mother you will never feel alone.  Rest in Her,” they said, “rest.

“This is the most valuable thing you can do at this time,” the Grandmothers said.  “Resting with Her will restore you.  We are joining ourselves with Her to hold you now.”

Letter from a Man in the Netherlands

“I want to share something about the last Gathering in the Netherlands,” he said.  “First of all, I, and my wife decided to start a new Net of Light group again. We did that years ago but somehow it faded out, but now I strongly feel the call again and I’m very happy that she wants to join in because without her, I can’t do it.  And that has to do with the experience I had at the Gathering — the position of men in this work.

“This morning we sat on the couch and did the Stone Circle meditation in the Grandmothers’ second book.  I asked about the place of men in the Grandmothers’ work and they showed me the following.  I saw myself, both at the Gathering and again today, as an eagle and the Grandmothers invited me to take my place in between them.  (I still do not know what that means.)  Then there was a spiral movement of many eagles, whirling and whirling till nothing was left, just a blank sky.  And then all kinds of men appeared — all of them in full armour.  Wars and battles throughout history: in Europe, in Roman times, the Indians, etc.  I felt the pain of those battles then and it seemed that the men were stuck in this pain.

“After this scene, all the men came into the Circle of Stones with me and together, we were embraced by the Grandmothers.  And as the Grandmothers held us, slowly our armour started to melt until we were at last freed from the burden of battle.  It was clear that we no longer wanted that burden.  Now we men could be ourselves again and, in the end, we formed one circle of men and women with the Grandmothers.

This is what I also experienced at the Dutch Gathering: it was a warm, cosmic yin bath given by the women.  It was joy to be in it and I felt the melting in me start from the very beginning of the weekend and then go on and on.  In that melting and softening process I felt a new manhood arise in me — as I also felt at the 2011 Gathering.  I felt myself lining up — firm, steady, fearless, and gentle — with an open heart.

So, as the Grandmothers showed me, we men need the women to help us melt so the true male nature can arise again.  In 2011 my role as a man was not perfectly clear to me yet but now it is: we simply have to surrender to the feminine (yin) energy.  That might be frightening for some men but the gift we get back is enormous.  We get back our true masculine energy as it is meant to be.  Without women we stay stuck in the old patterns of yang energy that is always pushing forward on its own.  I experienced that as soon as I was in contact with that true man nature — which stands on its own in that ‘yin bath,’ I did not feel less or more than the women, but felt together with them.  Each of us was playing our role as we were meant to, each of us serving the whole.

So, thank you women, thank you, Grandmothers, for this great gift.  And special thanks to my wife for starting a group with me again so we can do something for men and women in this world.”

The Grandmothers want us to know how vitally important each of us is, as we anchor the Net of Light where we live. They tell us that They see more radiant Light on Earth than darkness, and they want us to see that too. They also tell us how much they Love us.
We are all feeling the effects of these changing times/exciting times as we call on the Grandmothers and Cast the Net of Light. We miss our group meetings where we can hug each other and enjoy the uplifting energy that each one brings to the meetings.
But changing times require changed behavior to get new results and the Grandmothers are asking us to hold our gatherings differently.

So, we are beginning teachings online. Starting this Sunday, April 5th, Sharon will speak to us from her garden. (CLICK HERE)
Many more are being called into this work in these times, and we fully embrace all who step forward through this new medium.
May we all stay centered in our hearts and in the Heart of the Great Mother.

March 24, 2020 When the Going gets Tough, the Tough Get Going…..

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. That is the truth of the matter.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.  That’s pretty much the truth of the matter,” the Grandmothers said.  “This is a time for human beings to step up, a time for them to think big.  Think always of what is good for the All,” they said, “and then do that!

“At this time, do not waste any more time bemoaning your fate, but instead, stand in the light and broadcast it!  Be the Beacon of Light that you were born to be,” they said.  “Cast the Net of Light for all beings.  And, wherever you stand, hold steady and anchor light.  However you may think about these times, we assure you,” the Grandmothers said, “you were born for them.”

Net of Light Meditation

Casting the Net is always good to do as it uplifts everyone and everything.

Right now it’s a VERY important thing to do.  So, join us, step into your place in the Net and cast its radiant light/love to all beings.  The need has never been greater.

March 13, 2020 The Grandmothers Speak: The Coronavirus

March 13, 2020 The Grandmothers Speak: The Coronavirus

The Grandmothers Speak on the coronavirus

“The coronavirus is something for you to learn from,” the Grandmothers said.  “It is presenting a challenge to you, and it’s presenting a challenge that you can meet.  Recognize that the news media and all who think they are ‘in control’ of the world will seek to perpetuate drama around the subject of this virus. Many of them believe it is their job to perpetuate drama and that the advent of this virus gives them something to feed on.  So, feed they will.  Know that they will dramatize whatever they can.

“However, there is more to it than this.  This illness is real,” the Grandmothers said.  “It is not imaginary and it is not ‘fake.’  This virus is something you must face, cope with, and help each other through.  The virus is not monstrous nor is it evil.  It is caused by man in that it is yet another proof of humanity’s divorce from nature.  At this time, human beings have grown so distant from the natural world, so distant from a state of harmony with Her that you operate as if you are entirely separate from Her and entirely separate from one another.  This is a mistake, the Grandmothers said, holding me with their eyes,“and from time to time you will have to pay for a mistake like this one.  When mankind chooses to live out of harmony with nature, nature too becomes inharmonious.  That is what has happened in this case, and when this lack of harmony takes place, everything falls out of balance.  This virus is the most recent example of this lack of balance.

“We recognize that a disease such as this one with no known cure is frightening to you, but do not run from the challenge this illness presents.  Do not attempt to hide from it and cut yourself off from the world.  Use precautions as you interact with one another,” the Grandmothers said, “but step towards each other now, not away from one another.  At a time like this, step in to help take care of the vulnerable among you.  Help wherever you can,” they said.  “Make sure that people have food, water, shelter and care, especially at a time like this.  This is a moment for you to prove your humanity, not run away from it.

“You know the common sense precautions you need to take now, so take them,” they said.  “And, in addition to that, be the great-hearted one you are and help ever, hurt never.  Involve yourself in the world around you.  Your love, your steady support, your generosity — all of these are much needed.  So, open your heart to one another,” they said, “and let this be your finest hour.  You were born to be a blessing on this earth and we are calling you to step into that.”

Way-oh, hey-oh, hey-oh, hey/Hey-ah-hey-ah
Hey-ah-hey
Hey-ah-hey

I was a shy and lonely girl
With the heavens in my eyes
And as I walked along the lane
I heard the echoes of her cries
I cannot fight
I cannot a warrior be
It’s not my nature nor my duty
It is the womanhood in me
(refrain)

I was a lost and angry youth
There were no tears in my eyes
I saw no justice in my world
Only the echoes of her cries
I cannot fight
I cannot a warrior be
It’s not my nature nor my duty
It is the womanhood in me
(refrain)

I am an older woman now
And I will heed my own cries
And I will a fierce warrior be
‘Til not another woman dies
I can and will fight, I can and will fight
I can and will a  warrior be
It is my nature and my teaching
It is the womanhood in me.

I can and will fight, I can and will fight
I can and will a warrior be
It is my teaching and my duty
It is the sisterhood in me.

Tree Whisperer: Ellen Davidson
author of: Wild Path to the Sacred Heart

“It just feels so amazing to watch what originally felt to me like an odd and unexplainable personal experience become a forerunner of a worldwide movement to reconnect to the trees!
“One thing people may wish to play with is to feel into which trees ‘Call’ them.  It won’t always be the biggest, oldest, most impressive tree.  Sometimes the Call will come in a dream or from a tree that is far away.  Plant scientist Monica Gagliano was called in a dream from Australia to a tree in South America!  For me it was the old redwood behind my house, again in a series of dreams.
“Some trees will work with people as Protector Trees, others will ask for our support, some will connect us to nature or cosmic intelligence. They seem to me to have very distinct and individual personalities, just as we do!  Some trees can’t wait to work with humans, others really don’t want to.  The whole thing is fascinating and an ongoing mysterious journey.
“I feel great relief that you at Net of Light are coming in with knowledge and skill working with the Net.  For a long time I have felt the trees requesting help with their worldwide interconnectivity and communication system, both from the roots and also from the upper atmospheric realms.  I think the Grandmothers have been guiding us towards this for a long time, but only recently has enough information about trees reached the public consciousness to open many people to do this work.  I’m so grateful.”

A Healing Family in the Netherlands
Yesterday I walked in a beautiful, wet and cold forest with our two children.  We were already on our way back when I remembered connecting with the trees.

I said to our youngest son, who is eight years by now, ‘you know that trees are wise and connected to each other, above and underneath the ground?  And that you can ask them what they need and what they want you to know?’

I saw a maritime pine then who caught my eye and told my son I just wanted to talk to her.  He walked up to her with me, we put our hands on her trunk and stood still.  I felt an energy rising up from the ground in her, healthy, but she felt restricted in her way of connecting to other trees beside her.

What I could do for her was reawaken her network of mycelium connection with the nearby trees.  What she needed me to know was that we humans are sawing off too many branches of trees, but also in our own lives.  Cutting ourselves away from a wide variety of solutions we have for dealing with issues in our lives.  We focus too much on growth, instead of exploring new ranges of suitable solutions.  And of course that was an answer to a question I had walked into the forest with.

Then I asked my son what he felt.  His answer surprised me, so normal this contact was for him … he felt the tree asked for connection with that other tree there and with that tree there.  One looked sick, the bark peeled off on many places and that was the tree who needed to be connected.

He walked to that hurt tree and put his hands on her.  ‘Ohhh she feels cold’ he said, and explained further ‘her energy under the ground only comes till here’ just taking one step away from the hurt tree. ‘That’s why they can’t connect.  Their lines don’t meet’. And there he walked from the hurt tree back to maritime pine.  Back and forth.

‘Doing this brings their connection more nearby’ he said meanwhile walking in between the trees.  While he was doing that I felt that the mycelium network going deeper and remembered the impact they have by being together.

He just helped remind the trees of their healing connection.
‘So’ he said after going back and forth a couple of times, ‘they are back together’.  I smiled at him full hearted.  Then I touched the sick tree and wahhh!! she felt warm!  I couldn’t believe it.  Felt it again.  My son too.  And yes she was.

The tree felt warm again.
And so did we.
Love Saskia

Call to Lightworkers

to Strengthen the Net of Light Holding the Earth

“We need a place where humanity and the Spirits of Nature can meet and you must be that ‘place.’ ”
“It’s time to get to know the spirits of nature, to connect with the elemental kingdom of life.  We are calling you to this work now,” the Grandmothers said.  “To save your planet from destruction and return it to balance, this link between humanity and the natural world must be made. And you,” they said, “are here to do it!”

“Each Net of Light Gathering this year will focus on work with nature.  We will begin with the trees — reactivating the template for communication that existed in the old growth forests.  The trees’ network of communication is needed once again.”

The Grand Mothers say, “Only those we call to this work will respond.”

So if the Grandmothers are calling you, come.

We will gather together to amplify the power and reach of the Net of Light.  Our purpose is Selfless Service to all life, to the planet itself, to the nature spirits and to the spirits of the Ancestors.  Please join us.

February 15, 2020 The life force in the trees will harmonize with your own life force

February 15, 2020 The life force in the trees will harmonize with your own life force

“The life force in the trees will harmonize with your own life force”

Many people all over the earth have contacted us about how they are now working with the trees.  It’s clear that January 25 was a busy day around the world.  In Latvia people sang to the trees, in Lithuania they wrapped and empowered them, and in India, Brazil, Hawaii and all over the earth people gathered to connect the trees to the Net of Light.  We at Net of Light are impressed by the dedication of these people, their creativity in connecting with the trees, the loving reach of this family of light.  And as we heard from all of them, it made me wonder, “What’s next, Grandmothers?  What shall we do next?”  So, I asked them.

“Tune in to us at all times,” they responded.  “You must go higher now,” they said, “farther than you have imagined.  Now is the time for that and we will guide you.  You have been moving at a slow, steady pace for a while,” they said and gave me a meaningful look.  “Yes, Grandmothers,” I said, “I’ve felt that slow pace and sometimes it’s felt so slow that I’ve wondered if it was movement at all.”  “We know, we know,” they laughed, “but now the climbing as well as the learning will be steeper.”

“Okay, Grandmothers,” I said, “Please teach us.”  And, as I waited with anticipation, they said, “Some of the new women who are coming to work with us now will be important to what you will do next.  With their open hearts and minds, they are not afraid.  And they will be followed by others too who are also unafraid.  People who WANT to soar,” they smiled, “people who want to fly free.”  “Yes, Grandmothers,” I replied.

“But what,” I repeated, “is the next step?”  “You are bonding now with the trees,” they answered, “you are reuniting with the tree family.  Continue to do that.  Continue to spend time with the trees, listening and receiving from them as you in turn, honor them.”  “Yes, Grandmothers,” I said, “we will.”

“The life force in the trees will harmonize with your own life force,” they said, “and, when that happens, you will see things differently.  You will understand more and understand in a different way than you have before. Let the trees teach you,” they nodded.  “Call on them and let them know you’re an eager learner, tell them how much you want to learn.”  “I will, Grandmothers,” I said.

“Each day open to a tree,” they said.  “Go up to it and touch it, love it and call the Net of Light to link with it.  Then, after a few minutes ask it, ‘What can I do for you?’”  And then, ‘What do you want me to know?’  Make this contact with a tree a habit, a new way of living,” they said.  “This communion with a tree will open up a world for you; it will dissolve your human arrogance and awaken you to the wellspring of connection with all trees.  Take this task on,” the Grandmothers said, “and fulfill it faithfully. Begin, and you will soon see the difference in your life.”

“Yes, Grandmothers,” I said, and then I realized that they wanted me to start this process now.  So, I got up, went outside and wrapped my arms around a smooth-barked tree in the front garden.  The afternoon sun was beating down on the tree as well as on my back, and, as I felt its heat, I became aware that sharing the sun with a tree like this was a certain kind of good I hadn’t experienced before.  The tree and I were feeling the same thing.
The ficus tree was magnifying the sun’s power for me while I magnified it for the tree.  I stayed with my arms twined around its limbs for a long while, feeling the peace of our bond.  There we were, together in the warmth of the sun, magnifying the blessing of nature for one another.  And, although I didn’t realize it until much later, our shared embrace had created a mergence and this was the answer to the questions I’d asked the tree.
‘What can I do for you?’ and ‘What do you want me to know?’ had been answered in the most personal way. As we embraced, we merged our energy, the tree and I, and together we became part of the flow of nature. And become part of the flow of nature is what we are to do next. I’ll be spending a lot of time with the trees.

Working with Trees around the World

Letter from the U.S. Heartland
I am so happy to receive this communication from you and the Grandmothers, and from Carole in Australia. It makes me smile and my heart sing! For months I have been casting the Net of Light to all plant, animal, and mineral life, to our waters and our air, to all peoples and to all the dark corners of the world. I’ve especially been casting the Net to the ancient trees of the world since receiving your newsletter asking us to set aside January 25; I didn’t want to wait but started right away. This work fills me to bursting with love; I truly feel love and light radiating out from my heart space when I do this work!
It was a great blessing when I found the Grandmothers’ first book, quite accidentally, a used book that seemed to just appear in my hands at a used book store. I quickly acquired the other 2 books, spread the word about this work to people in my area, and attended the Gathering in Pennsylvania. I will continue to honor and follow the Grandmothers’ work and messages. Thank you for bringing the Grandmothers to us and to the world!

One other woman who had come to meet me and work with the tree. She brought offerings of dried herbs and flowers to the tree and as I approached I noticed her giving offerings at a spot by the church wall too.  After we greeted one another, she reminded me about Annorah, the anchorite, who had lived a life of strict seclusion in a tiny bricked up cell next to the church.  She may be buried there too — there is a grave stone just there.  I have known about this woman but never felt moved by her before, but now I felt powerfully that her energy was still there, and she too became part of our circle.  The yew tree would already have been 500 years old when Annorah lived here in her cell, just between the edge of the church and the tree.  I was struck by the word ‘anchorite’ – she was anchored to God through her life of prayer, as we were there to anchor the Net of Light into the tree root web.
We stood beneath the branches of yew and made our prayers, including that our work be in harmony with the bells of the church, for the time of separation is over.  I tuned my shruti box to the key of the bells, and sang, as we visualised the Net of Light anchoring into the roots of this ancient mother tree, and spreading out across the land, ready to meet with the lit up roots spreading from all the other points of activation.  The bells held a safe space for me to sing loudly, and I felt my voice enacting the journey from highest vibration (Net of Light) to deeply embodied lowest chakra sounds (Roots).  I sat with Grandmother Yew behind me doing this and am still feeling the potent energy of the experience.  A robin was curious and came close to listen.  A female blackbird also came right into the yew canopy, and in the spaces between peels of bells we heard the voices of many birds.  Red Kites flew above.  I felt a sense of being between the canopy of the Net of light spreading in all directions, and the network of roots below us, both lit up and spreading in all directions.  I felt how humans join these two realms.  We prayed for balance.
As we completed, the bell-ringers chimed one bell repeatedly, which felt a fitting end.  As we left the churchyard, I noticed a healthy looking sapling, planted on the site of a huge chestnut which had to be cut down a year or so ago.  Last time I had been there, the chestnut stump and roots had still been there, and I was sad.  Weirdly as I arrived, I had seen that the stump had gone but hadn’t seen the sapling!  As we left, I made a connection with this young life too, which felt a hopeful way to end.
What we are doing is way beyond my comprehension, but I know it was a good thing to do.  Deep and holy.  The yew tree grandmother encouraged me to come back often – it’s good for both of us, I felt her say.  And this I feel too, that though I am tired now, the experience has nourished me as surely as it has done some good in the world.

We will begin with the trees-reactivating the template for communication that existed in the old growth forests.
