“The world today is challenging and life so confusing that sometimes you feel overwhelmed by its seeming craziness. This is the Kali Yuga; you are living through the depth of negativity foretold in scripture thousands of years ago. It is true that you are living in difficult times, and… it is also true that you signed up for these times. You signed up because you wanted to serve the light. You wanted to perform work of great value and so your being alive at this time is no accident.
You were called to earth to hold light steady in an unsteady world. You answered the call. And once you responded to the call, there was nothing more for you to do.
“As soon as you said “Yes” to us, you became an instrument for light. So now, at every moment, light and love are flooding through you. Unfortunately sometimes you become so distracted by the drama surrounding you that you lose awareness of this. But the truth is, you are channeling light-you are always channeling light. Even when you feel tired, discouraged, and lost, you aren’t really lost. As soon as you answered, “Yes”, we stepped in to fill you, to guide and direct you, so that now you are never alone. Never! We are as close to you as your breath.
“Remember this now and let us hold and enfold you. Let us rock and cradle you. We will drive with you, we will cook with you, work with you, and live with you 24 hours a day. There is no separation between you and us. Separation is an illusion. You are one with the Divine, so rest in our embrace and let us take care of everything. We will nudge and guide you toward all you do. Simply ask for our guidance and then move in the direction we point out.
“Lean on us. Give us your worries and instead of fretting, enjoy your time with us and with one another. Each of you is a precious flower in our garden so bloom as you were created to bloom. Let yourself be–and be yourself. There is nothing wrong with you. We love you exactly as you are.
“Begin today to love yourself and one another the way we love you. As you let go of what you think you should do and be, and instead allow us to do all the “hard” things in life, you will find yourself enjoying everything. It’s time for you to be happy. You are greatly loved. (Really, you have no idea of how greatly!) “

Twenty Years

September 10 marks twenty years since the Great Council of the Grandmothers first appeared above a California beach and said,
“We have come to 
return the world to balance.”
Much has happened in those twenty years and now the Grandmothers’ message is anchored all over the earth.
 
We will celebrate the anniversary of their coming on Sunday, Sept. 11. Please join us and raise a glass  to these beloved teachers who never run out of patience with us or fail to inspire. We are ever grateful to them and to all those who have stepped forward to carry their message into the world.

“You were not born to cower in fear, not born to hide and tremble. No! You were born for greatness. Born a vessel of love, destined to stand steady–a great tree, offering shade and shelter to all. You are not weak and helpless.
 
“At times you may feel fear as it passes by because fear is always seeking a place to feed. But fear cannot take up permanent residence in you when you are linked with us.
 
“Stand in your power. Call forth the Net of Light, magnify its reach and then hold steady. BE the great one you are. Give love and comfort whenever you can; hold a place of peace in an un-peaceful world. Call on us to surround and support you. We will! and the more you work with us, the more you will anchor the Net of Light for the world. You will become a walking blessing upon the earth. This is what is needed now and THIS is what you were born for.
 
“We stand with you now and always. You have everything you need.

“You long to serve,“the Grandmothers said,”especially at this time of world-wide upheaval. You long to feel that
 your life has purpose. Honor this longing within yourself. This longing is sacred because it IS service that will lead you to the purpose of your life.
 
“Whenever you can, come together in a ‘community of the good’ where love is practiced, lauded and lived. Spend time with openhearted people. Let love live in you and pour from you. Let it flow. Spending  time with people like this will strengthen you.
 
“Then let your head, heart and hands move easily into active service. Give to those members of the family of life who need this love. Give to people, to animals, to the waters, to the earth and to your own dear self. Let kindness be your first response, let goodness and generosity fill your heart. You were born for greatness,” the Grandmothers said. “Loving all and serving all IS greatness.“

101 Year Old Woman

My friend Mae, who has received the Grandmothers’ Empowerment and comes to our Net of Light meetings, was talking on the phone to her 101yr old mother who lives on the east coast.
Her mother is coherent, of sound mind, but now finds herself surrounded by otherworldly spirits. She told Mae she has no words to describe what she sees, other than
“A golden net is around me, in front of me, its like a fish net, golden with light”.
How lovely is that!  Mae told her Mom it was the Net of Light. I asked Mae if she had introduced the Net to her mother and family back east but she hadnt…It is just there.  So life affirming…

THE BIG LIFT

I was talking to the Grandmothers when I suddenly felt warmth at the center of my body and with it, a sense of happy expansion. As I relaxed and allowed myself to widen into it, I noticed that I was bathed in light. Pink, gold, blue, and white lights were dancing together, weaving patterns in the air and lifting me. Enfolded in these colors, up and up I rose, and when at last I got over my surprise at what was happening, I looked around and saw that I wasn’t alone. Everyone I knew was rising up with me. We were all part of this movement.
Then the Grandmothers spoke. “At this time while the energy on earth is changing, those of you who stay connected to the Source will sense this lifting. You will experience a rising expansion and as you rise, you will draw thousands of others with you.”
“Staying connected to the Source during these difficult times will create a higher and higher vibration for you,” they explained. “And this high vibration will form a updraft, one that’s able to lift energy. Wherever there is ‘high’ energy, the updraft created by it will cause elevation.”
 “At this time many people have made a commitment to keep themselves tuned to the Divine, no matter what!  This decision is enabling them to hold their vibration high. More and more of you are doing this.”
“Here is how it works,” they explained. “Everything is energy. You are energy, we are energy, everyone is energy. When people call on us or call on any form of the Divine, they energetically connect to the Net of Light that supports life on earth. The Net then lifts them and lifts everyone with whom they’re linked. Your connection to the Source allows those linked with you to also benefit.  This divine connection is potent and today the growing reach of the Net of Light is enabling hoards of people to lift up. Animals too,” they affirmed. “All forms of energy are rising and expanding.”
“This upward movement includes low frequency energy as well. What you think of as negative energy is also rising–surfacing from the depths,” they laughed. “As this heavy energy comes to the surface you see violence, hate, and fear popping up all over the world. But do not worry,” the Grandmothers said, wrapping their arms around me, “even these difficult forms of energy will be affected by the updraft.  These energies are rising from a lower place, but, like everything else, they too will benefit.“
As I gazed at the Grandmothers, I felt so grateful to receive this message. Grateful to know why our world is in such a mess and grateful to know how we can be of assistance. “Staying tuned is the key,” I muttered,“staying tuned to the Source.” And as I thought about this, again I felt that warmth within me, felt something greater than my small self moving me upward. Lifting, lifting. Lifting me, lifting others, lifting everything.
Nothing is a mistake, nothing is wasted. Each good thought, each happy moment, every loving service–all contribute to this elevation. And energy is rising now all over the globe. Of course few people are aware of it. We’ll never see it in the news, but this inexorable movement upward is happening. Present everywhere, at every moment. It’s in you right now.
