March 24, 2020 When the Going gets Tough, the Tough Get Going…..

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. That is the truth of the matter.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.  That’s pretty much the truth of the matter,” the Grandmothers said.  “This is a time for human beings to step up, a time for them to think big.  Think always of what is good for the All,” they said, “and then do that!

“At this time, do not waste any more time bemoaning your fate, but instead, stand in the light and broadcast it!  Be the Beacon of Light that you were born to be,” they said.  “Cast the Net of Light for all beings.  And, wherever you stand, hold steady and anchor light.  However you may think about these times, we assure you,” the Grandmothers said, “you were born for them.”

March 13, 2020 The Grandmothers Speak: The Coronavirus

The Grandmothers Speak on the coronavirus

“The coronavirus is something for you to learn from,” the Grandmothers said.  “It is presenting a challenge to you, and it’s presenting a challenge that you can meet.  Recognize that the news media and all who think they are ‘in control’ of the world will seek to perpetuate drama around the subject of this virus. Many of them believe it is their job to perpetuate drama and that the advent of this virus gives them something to feed on.  So, feed they will.  Know that they will dramatize whatever they can.

“However, there is more to it than this.  This illness is real,” the Grandmothers said.  “It is not imaginary and it is not ‘fake.’  This virus is something you must face, cope with, and help each other through.  The virus is not monstrous nor is it evil.  It is caused by man in that it is yet another proof of humanity’s divorce from nature.  At this time, human beings have grown so distant from the natural world, so distant from a state of harmony with Her that you operate as if you are entirely separate from Her and entirely separate from one another.  This is a mistake, the Grandmothers said, holding me with their eyes,“and from time to time you will have to pay for a mistake like this one.  When mankind chooses to live out of harmony with nature, nature too becomes inharmonious.  That is what has happened in this case, and when this lack of harmony takes place, everything falls out of balance.  This virus is the most recent example of this lack of balance.

“We recognize that a disease such as this one with no known cure is frightening to you, but do not run from the challenge this illness presents.  Do not attempt to hide from it and cut yourself off from the world.  Use precautions as you interact with one another,” the Grandmothers said, “but step towards each other now, not away from one another.  At a time like this, step in to help take care of the vulnerable among you.  Help wherever you can,” they said.  “Make sure that people have food, water, shelter and care, especially at a time like this.  This is a moment for you to prove your humanity, not run away from it.

“You know the common sense precautions you need to take now, so take them,” they said.  “And, in addition to that, be the great-hearted one you are and help ever, hurt never.  Involve yourself in the world around you.  Your love, your steady support, your generosity — all of these are much needed.  So, open your heart to one another,” they said, “and let this be your finest hour.  You were born to be a blessing on this earth and we are calling you to step into that.”

WARRIOR

Way-oh, hey-oh, hey-oh, hey
Way-oh, hey-oh, hey-oh, hey
Way-oh, hey-oh, hey-oh, hey/Hey-ah-hey
Way-oh, hey-oh, hey-oh, hey/Hey-ah-hey-ah
Hey-ah-hey
Hey-ah-hey

I was a shy and lonely girl
With the heavens in my eyes
And as I walked along the lane
I heard the echoes of her cries
I cannot fight
I cannot a warrior be
It’s not my nature nor my duty
It is the womanhood in me
(refrain)

I was a lost and angry youth
There were no tears in my eyes
I saw no justice in my world
Only the echoes of her cries
I cannot fight
I cannot a warrior be
It’s not my nature nor my duty
It is the womanhood in me
(refrain)

I am an older woman now
And I will heed my own cries
And I will a fierce warrior be
‘Til not another woman dies
I can and will fight, I can and will fight
I can and will a  warrior be
It is my nature and my teaching
It is the womanhood in me.

I can and will fight, I can and will fight
I can and will a warrior be
It is my teaching and my duty
It is the sisterhood in me.

Hey-ah-hey
Hey-ah-HEY!
