  • Welcomes new Beacons-Leaders and Beacons and provides guidance and support to all Beacons-Leaders holding meetings, and anchoring the Net of Light work in the region/area
  • Is responsible for a specific geographic area
  • Connecting with Beacons and Beacon-Leaders periodically.
  • Answering their questions and encouraging them when they have challenges.
  • Arranging for passing on of  the Empowerment, refer them to a Beacon-Leaders is recommended.
  • Giving support and encouragement for those interested in holding meetings.
  • Connect people interested in joining a group in the same Region/area with each other when there is no group yet.
  • Responding to new inquiries about the Net of Light
  • Keeping a current list of Beacon-Leaders, reporting them to the RC support team, so they can keep the website updated.
  • Develops a personal two way relationship with each Beacon-Leaders via phone, email and attending zoom meetings.

  • Organizes a zoom/live meeting with the Beacon-Leaders in their Region/area once a year to facilitate sharing and community among the Beacon-Leaders.
  • Sharing the role of regional coordinator with another grandmother (co-RC) is recommended especially with a large amount of Beacons, for mutual support and for bringing different skills into the mix. When sharing the role, regular communication between the two is crucial.
  • forwarding the Global zoom invitation with zoom link to the Beacon-Leaders & Beacons , so they can pass it on to those who have voiced and interest in wanting to attend.
